Raising Awareness about Mental Wellness

The topic of mental wellness has been increasingly mentioned in the past few years. As we awaken and realize the there is more than just work, more companies recognize that employees matter, and employers should care about the well-being of those who help them forge their business.

Today’s world is demanding and fast-paced. Employees face harder challenges, shorter deadlines, lower salaries, and demanding tasks. All these circumstances can affect the well-being of any person at any time. Our parents and grandparents did not have to deal with the kind of challenges we are facing today. According to the American Psychological Association, 37% of women and 31% of men reported an increase in stress in 2015.
